Professional Background

Dr. Michael Madrid is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology with fellowship training in gastrointestinal and liver pathology. He earned his medical degree from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine and completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Vermont Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He went on to complete fellowship training in gastrointestinal and liver pathology at Brown University Health. Prior to his medical training, Dr. Madrid obtained a Master of Science in microbiology from Idaho State University.

Dr. Madrid has presented at national conferences, including the American Society of Dermatopathology Annual Meeting, and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications.
