Professional Background:
Dr. Samuel Ballentine is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. He received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, where he also served as Chief Resident and completed fellowship training in Gastrointestinal, Pancreaticobiliary, and Liver Pathology.
Prior to joining ECPC, Dr. Ballentine served for six years as faculty in the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. During his time, Dr. Ballentine served as Associate Program Director and then Program Director of their Pathology Residency Program and was actively involved in research, teaching, and mentorship.
