Taylor A. Kalomeris, D.O.
Professional Background
Dr. Taylor Kalomeris is a board-certified pathologist in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology who completed fellowship training in Dermatopathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Kalomeris received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to medical school, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University, with minors in Biochemical Engineering and Mathematics.
Dr. Kalomeris’ research interests include dermatopathology, cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorders, inflammatory and autoimmune skin disease, and molecular pathology. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including The American Journal of Dermatopathology, Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, Clinics in Dermatology, and Annals of Diagnostic Pathology. She has also presented her research at national meetings of the American Society of Dermatopathology and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. Prior to medical school, she gained research experience at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Center for Precision Imaging, Pfizer, and Genzyme, contributing to work in molecular imaging and cell culture process development.
