Professional Background

Dr. Michael Chang is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. He completed his residency training at the University of Florida, where he served as Chief Resident and completed a fellowship in Gastrointestinal, Pancreaticobiliary, and Liver Pathology.

Prior to joining ECPC, Dr. Chang served for more than six years as Section Chief of Anatomic Pathology and general surgical pathologist at the Malcom Randall Veterans Administration Hospital (North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System) and as a Gastrointestinal Pathologist at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He was actively involved in teaching and served as a faculty mentor to pathology residents as part of the University of Florida Department of Pathology mentorship program.

Dr. Chang received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and is a member of the College of American Pathologists.
